What is the difference between a mattress protector and a mattress pad?
A mattress protector is a thin layer barrier that protects your mattress from dust, dirt and spills. Since they are light-weight, they should not change the feel of your mattress. A mattress pad is thicker than a protector, with additional cushion or padding. While they can still protect your mattress they often change the feel of it.
