Materials & certifications
The exterior wood trusses are premium grade SPF (spruce, pine and fir) with grey upholstered fabric; 8 built-in plastic grommets line the inner sides of the trusses. The fabric is made up of 75% PES polyester, 25% PP polypropylene. Head and foot trusses include 10 gauge steel end-bracket connectors for Center Trussers. Center wood trusses are premium grade SPF with black non-woven fabric and 10 gauge steel end-brackets. Four black, interlocking high-grade plastic mold corner connectors have 4 black plastic locking pins. Screw-in wood legs feature built-in threaded screws. Two slat decking slats are made up birch wood with black woven material.

1. When will I receive my Leesa Platform Bed?
Once an order is placed, we need 2-4 business days to build and box your platform bed before shipping it directly to you.
We are currently experiencing delays due to COVID-19, so it may take up to 3 weeks to receive your platform bed. We will send you an email with your tracking details as soon as your platform bed leaves the building.
2. How do I clean my Leesa Platform Bed?
It'd be a little tough to put your platform bed in the washing machine (and we don't recommend trying), but you can spot clean the fabric with a mild detergent if you need to remove a stain.
3. Do I need tools to put my platform bed together?
The Leesa Platform Bed consists of four outer rails, held together by pins, and a center rail that slides into place. No Allen wrench or power tools needed. The legs screw in place underneath the bed. If you’re unsure about how to set up your platform bed, give us a call or send us a message. We’re here to help!
4. What's the difference between a platform bed, a foundation and a box spring?
Both a box spring and a foundation support your mattress and lift it off the ground. A box spring is made with actual springs, while a foundation is usually made of with slats. Both are recommended for use with a bed frame. A platform bed is a piece of furniture that gives your mattress the support it needs. With an aesthetically pleasing design and its own legs, a platform bed eliminates the need for a bed frame.
5. Do I need a frame for my platform bed?
Nope! The Leesa platform bed is all you need, no additional bed frame or foundation required. Just top your platform bed with your Original, Hybrid or Legend mattress.
